HOW TO JUDGE WHEN THE RADIATOR TANK IS LEAKING?

If we don't know where the leaking part of the radiator tank is, how can we judge the leaking part of the radiator tank?At first,user could remove the radiator from the car or truck and block the upper and lower radiator tank pipes. Second,air pump or water filling method can be used at this time. The air pump method refers to immersing the radiator in water, and then using an air cylinder into the radiator pump up, where bubbles come out, it shows where the radiator tank is leaking. The irrigation rule is to pour hot water into the radiator tank and see where the hot water seeps out, and then you can determine the location of the leak.

HOW TO REPLACE A RADIATOR TANK？

1.Use a screwdriver to gently pry open the old radiator tank, do not open too much, you can remove the cover.

    

2.Take out the old radiator tank, clean up the dirt and other dirt around the water pipe, especially the rubber pad and the rubber pad slot. Because water pipes and old radiators generally block scale, it is especially necessary to clean the black rubber pads.

    

3.Press our radiator tank, put one end of the radiator tank into the groove first, and then slowly press it in. Use a hammer to knock it properly. After the whole radiator is pressed into the groove, use a hammer to gently knock back the radiator tank teeth. Don’t use too much force,Just return to the original position with the tooth.

    

4.Use radiator pliers to press our radiator tank teeth back with proper strength and not deform the bottom plate.

    

5.At last ,it need leak test, plug the radiator tank pipe (press and hold it by hand), and then pump air into the radiator tank, there will be bubbles in the leaking area, if there is no bubble, it means that it has been successful and the car can be loaded.
