Radiator Cap

This universal radiator cap is used on car radiator.The most important function of the radiator cap is release excess water or pressure when the cooling system expands due to the increase in temperature and pressure, and the liquid flows into the auxiliary radiator, and when the cooling system temperature is low,the water of auxiliary radiator is sucked back into the cooling system. In this way, the amount of water in the cooling system will not be short when the temperature is high or low.
The other is that the radiator cap has a fixed pressure value, water is not easy to boil under high pressure, and it is easy to boil at low pressure, boiling will generate air, so the radiator cap can maintain a constant pressure in the system

Do you know how to open a radiator cap？

The radiator cap should try to avoid opening when the engine is very hot, otherwise the high-pressure engine coolant vapor escaping from the radiator will cause serious burns. If you must open the engine when it is hot, you can use the following methods:
 
1.Find a damp cloth to cover the radiator cap completely.
 
2.Press and hold the radiator cap and slowly rotate the radiator cap in the opening direction until the coolant vapor escapes.
 
3.The radiator cap can be fully opened after releasing the coolant vapor pressure.
