What is a radiator filler neck?

The radiator filler neck is a cap opening.It is installed between engine connector and hose connector.When user remove the radiator cap,user could fill with coolant through radiator filler neck.These radiator necks are mostly used on domestic cars,trucks and other industrial products.
 

Do you know how to install your new radiator filler neck?

1. Please wear a protective hand gloves at first.Then open hood of the vehicle.Before you touching it,make sure that your engine have cooled down.
2. When find radiators,you could find original filler neck.Using flat screwdriver or small hook to pull up U shaped clip from groove.In addition,you could cut radiator filler neck and separate it and radiator tanks.
3. Clean the radiator tank surface and put radiator filler neck on a correct location.
4. Putting the U shaped clip or use welding rod to weld radiator filler neck.
 
It is important to always check the radiator filler neck.Because it is aluminum,although good quality,radiator filler neck will rust and damage.It’s better to change radiator filler neck at least once a year.
