Radiator Welder
What function of radiator welder?
When auto radiator using long time, radiator tank or radiator core will have crack or leak with high pressure. How to stop radiator leak? You could replace radiator or radiator tank. But it is a little expensive. In addition, you could use radiator welder to help you fix radiator leak.
How to use radiator welder?
1. Burn the welding torch (the flame should not be too small, aluminum welding is characterized by high temperature, aluminum will melt at 660 degrees. However, high heat is required, so the flame is easy to be thick and not strong). If the temperature is too high, a large amount of aluminum oxide will be generated instead of welding.
2. Pre-fired bottom piece (vertical firing, welding torch can be slightly higher, with blue flame part),
Put the radiator welder on the heating process to heat it, and put the welding powder on the welding powder. Then, use the radiator welder with welding powder to quickly move the test welding at the welding place. If the temperature is reached, the radiator welder will melt to the welding place like water. If it is found to be non-stick, remove the radiator welder and continue to heat the bottom piece. (Don't deliberately use flame to burn the electrode during the welding process, or maintain the vertical burning state. The electrode will melt by the temperature uploaded underneath. If you are careful, you will find that the electrode is first melted from the bottom). This is why low-temperature electrodes can weld very thin aluminum parts.
3. After welding, wash away the residual welding powder with water, and the work is over.
If welding thick aluminum parts, you can use a torch (or plum blossom nozzle) to adjust the flame, preheat the bottom part, and then use the radiator welder to stick the welding powder for multiple test welding. The test radiator welder should be fast when the radiator welder is stroked. Just take it away quickly and continue heating. If you still don't feel the temperature, you can try to burn through the welding place first, and then weld the burned place. The purpose of this is to let you know the limits of preheating.
Note: Remember to use low-temperature aluminum welding powder, if you use high-temperature aluminum welding powder, the operation difficulty will be greatly increased.
